Association studies aim to identify genetic variations in inflammasome genes that contribute to common, complex diseases, such as diabetes, asthma, cancer, and infectious diseases
Inflammasome Investigation
Study the inflammasome pathway using in vitro assays
to detect the measurable outcomes of inflammasome formation and activation in physiologic and pathologic conditions. Methods include cytokines dosage (ELISA), caspase-1 activation (flow cytometry, western blot), immunofluorescence staining, cell death analysis.
